Blackburn boss Tony Mowbray, having already added Cardiff’s Peter Whittingham and Rotherham’s Richie Smallwood, is looking at Gillingham’s Bradley Dack and QPR’s Ben Gladwin.
According to Sky Sports, Blackburn are in talks with Gillingham over a potential deal for the highly rated Dack, previously credited with interest from Brighton and Crystal Palace.
However, talks have reportedly hit a ‘standstill’ as League One rivals Gillingham are looking for £600,000 up front along with add-ons, meaning the deal could amount to £1.2m in total. Apparently, Blackburn are open to paying an initial £400,000 and negotiate these add-ons.
Dack, impressive at Priestfield, making his debut as an 18 year old in 2012, has funnily enough courted attention from QPR in the past; currently the club another Rovers target, Ben Gladwin, is contracted too.
Having signed for QPR in 2015 from Swindon, Gladwin has been limited to just 14 league appearances at Loftus Road, spending three loans with the Robins and another at Bristol City.
Blackburn are in talks with Gladwin, 25, as he moves towards and exit from the Championship club, reports Get West London.
