Rovers increase mystery striker bid

Rovers have made an improved bid for their main striker target, who remains a mystery.

Rovers have decided to not name the man for fear of a deal being hijacked but early rumours that the man’s name is Cristiano Ronaldo seem a little wide of the mark 😉

Rovers chairman John Williams broke the news in a short, sharp and shiny statement.

Williams told the Lancashire Telegraph – ‘We have made an improved offer for a player and are waiting to hear the outcome of it. Negotiations will be ongoing this week.’
