Morning everybody (or evening Sasman and Retro)!

With the international break now in effect Sam has actually prevented anybody that was injured prior to the break from travelling away with their countries in attempt to get everyone up to speed for the next Premier League game.

So how are we doing injury wise and who is on course to make it for Wolves at home on the 12th of September?

Brett Emerton – is looking good and has recovered fairly well from a slight hamstring pull, it was a minor setback so wold have been silly to risk him v West Ham. He should be good to roll for Wolves.

Benni McCarthy – Bit touch and go. His ankle injury is swelling up a bit apparently and will be a doubt for the game, more likely not to be back after the break than recover at present.

Steven Reid – lord almighty the news is good. The knock picked up in his big comeback against Gillingham in the Carling Cup has not disrupted him much and word has it he is stepping up training this week with a view to the Wolves game. Bom may even eat his words yet!

Michel Salgado – not really an injury as such but he needs to get full fitness back. word is he is doing very, very well and put in a star display against the Six Fingers in tht private match midweek and will be in contention.

El Hadji Diouf – the injury sustained that kept him out of West Ham a few weeks back was not as bad as first feared and everybodies favourite Senagalese warrior will be in the squadfor Wolves.

Ryan Nelsen – not looking that great at present. He is still recovering and Wolves may come too soon for him. Expect Givet and Samba to crack on at centre back unless he speeds up.

Is this the first injury report ever that doesn’t include David Dunn!?!?
