Rovers Keeping An Eye On Ridgewell?

Blackburn Rovers are being linked with Birmingham City defender Liam Ridgewell, according to the newspapers anyway.

Former England Under-21 International Ridgewell left Aston Villa to sign for their fierce rivals Birmingham last summer but the suggestion is that Mark Hughes is planning a £3 million move for their central defensive skipper in the summer.

Personally I can’t see this move happening, nor if I am being perfectly honest would I WANT to see Ridgewell sign for Rovers (especially for £3 million!!!) as although he isn’t a bad defender I just don’t see what the benefits signing him would bring, every time I see the dude play he seems to make a mistake (and usually not a minor one a MAJOR one!!!) Just a quiet day for the newspapers if you ask me!
