Blackburn Rovers are once again being linked with Owain Fon Williams.

The Stockport County goalkeeper was linked with a move to Ewood Park (and MANY others) last season when he was with Crewe Alexandra. The 21-year-old did leave Crewe during the summer and moved to Stockport, where his form has been outstanding and this has retained his status as one of the most highly-rated goalkeepers in the lower leagues. The League One club have admitted that they will lose players and with Fon Williams one of Jim Gannon’s most prized assets he could lead the queue of players leaving?

As well as Rovers’ apparent interest, Manchester City, Sunderland, Tottenham Hotspur and a host of Championship sides including Ipswich Town, Preston North End, Queens Park Rangers and Sheffield United are all understood to be interested.
