Blackburn Rovers will do well to extend the loan of Leicester City’s Tom Lawrence as the former Manchester United forward has interest in him from AFC Bournemouth, Swansea City and Valencia.

That’s not forgetting that his parent club have also been keeping an eye on his progress at Ewood Park during his loan spell, which is starting to see the twenty one year old show what he can do (which isn’t going unnoticed) with his talent (always believed to be there) being shown at Blackburn.

It’s nothing more than speculation at the moment, however, The Daily Mail has said Spanish club Valencia could make a surprise move for the Welsh International in January?? This isn’t as random as it could appear as Phil Neville is a coach at the La Liga side so he knows Lawrence from his time at Old Trafford.

Rovers would love to extend his loan beyond January but if the Spaniards are as interested as it’s believed they could be, with Barclays Premier League interest from Bournemouth and Swansea (and the club that owns him too) as well if Lawrence is at Ewood Park beyond his initial loan spell it’ll be a bit of a surprise wouldn’t it??
