Vital Blackburn’s most recent poll asked, “Rovers Man of the Match v Chelsea?” We voted Zurab Khizanishvili.

In a VERY rare appearance, let alone start for Khizanishvili this season he managed to put in a superb performance and rightfully picked up the Man of the Match award with 44%. The Monk finished ahead of David Bentley on 29% in second place.

The rest were much the same as each other, although Roque Santa Cruz (17%) did stand out from the rest.

So in summary
B Friedel – 4%
B Emerton – 0%
Z Khizanishvili – 44%
R Nelsen – 0%
S Warnock – 0%
S Reid – 2%
D Dunn – 2%
Tugay – 0%
M G Pedersen – 2%
D Bentley – 29%
R Santa Cruz – 17%
