Vital Blackburn’s most recent poll asked, “Rovers Man of the Match v Liverpool?” We voted Roque Santa Cruz.

Santa Cruz claimed Yet ANOTHER Man of the Match Award for his display against Liverpool last Sunday. His 26% saw him claim this accolade JUST ahead of his nearest challenger, Stephen Warnock (23%), who was returning to Anfield for the first time since he left the club.

The rest were much the same as each other, although Ryan Nelsen (13%), Thomas Vogel (10%), Brad Friedel (8%) & Jason Roberts (6%) did stand out from the others.
