Vital Blackburn’s most recent poll asked, “Rovers Man of the Match v Manchester United?” We voted Roque Santa Cruz.

Not for the first time, in fact it is quite rare it isn’t him Santa Cruz (35%) has been voted Man of the Match for Rovers in our 2-0 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford last Sunday.

Beaten into second place with 13% was the match Christopher Samba, followed closely by Ryan Nelsen and David Bentley (both 11%).

The rest were much the same as each other, although David Dunn and Morten Gamst Pedersen (7% each) did stand out slightly from the rest.

So in summary
B Friedel – 8%
B Emerton – 1%
C Samba – 13%
R Nelsen – 11%
S Warnock – 1%
D Bentley – 11%
D Dunn – 7%
A Mokoena – 1%
M G Pedersen – 7%
R Santa Cruz – 35%
B McCarthy – 5%
M Derbyshire (Sub 78mins) – 0%

There is always speculation that Mark Hughes could leave Rovers for another team (which he will at some point) but he is also close to signing a new contract. So the current poll, suggested by MikeyGamst is asking “When will Sparky Leave??? (Heaven Forbid)

As for what you think, cast your vote and why not have your say on the latest polls findings.
