Vital Blackburn’s most recent poll asked, “Rovers Man of the Match verses Charlton?” Most felt Jason Roberts.

After another fine performance and a brace of goals, with 39% Roberts was deemed the Rovers Man of the Match against Charlton at the weekend. Roberts could, and maybe should have scored more; if he had he would have surely claimed this accolade by a wider margin.

Roberts’ nearest challenger was Christopher Samba who gained 24% of the vote, then came Brad Friedel with 8%. The others (including Friedel) were much the same and some way back really.

So in summary
B Friedel – 8%
C Samba – 24%
R Nelsen – 5%
S Warnock – 2%
A Mokoena – 2%
B Emerton – 6%
D Bentley – 5%
D Dunn – 1%
M G Pedersen – 6%
J Roberts – 39%
B McCarthy – 1%
Tugay (came after 45 minutes) – 1%
