Vital Blackburn’s most recent poll asked, “Rovers Man of the Match vs. Portsmouth?” Brad Friedel.

Once again, as so often seems to be happening this season Mr reliable Brad Friedel was the man voted Man of the Match against Pompey last Sunday, with his 50% making him a CLEAR winner, and rightly so with a series of fine saves again keeping Rovers very much in the match, even though we eventually lost 1-0.

Only Roque Santa Cruz with 22% (who has himself picked up a few of these Awards this season) came close, as he had closest for Rovers, striking the post with an early header.

Christopher Samba with 10% then came out on top of the rest who were much the same as each other.

So in summary
B Friedel – 50%
A Ooijer – 2%
C Samba – 10%
C Warnock – 2%
R Savage – 2%
B Emerton – 2%
D Dunn – 2%
B McCarthy – 0%
R Santa Cruz – 22%
M G Pedersen – 0%
D Bentley – 2%
M Derbyshire (Sub 56mins) – 0%
Tugay (Sub 56mins) – 4%
J Roberts (Sub 79mins) – 2%

The current poll, suggested by IsraeliRover is asking, “Which of our following youngsters turned out to be the most disappointing?
