Rovers scour for new resources has led to them the far reaches of Dundee, Serbia, Brazil and… er, Jerome Anderson’s house.

But now it seems to have led them to Staffordshire and to Tony Pulis’ Stoke City.

With Michel Salgado having something akin to a shocker at the weekend and Rovers short on numbers at the back it seems that Rovers have run the rule over Andy Wilkinson – genuine nut job and rock solid defender.

Don’t believe me? Well believe the papers (yes, I know)…

The Daily Mail – are reporting – ‘Blackburn manager Steve Kean is lining up a bid for Stoke defender Andy Wilkinson.

The 27-year-old has seen Robert Huth handed his right back spot since the arrival of Jonathan Woodgate.

Kean lost eleven players in the summer and is scrambling around for more.’

No day in court today Steve – time to get the players in.
