Rovers reject Bunny bid

Rovers goalkeeper Mark Bunn is a wanted man and it has come to light that Norwich City have had a bid rejected to lure him to Carrow Road.

The bid was in the region of £500,000 but Rovers are adamant that Bunn, who impressed in between the sticks in a brief spell last Christmas, won’t be leaving as competition is sorely needed for Paul Robinson as Blackburn No.1.

Rovers will be without Bunny for the season’s curtain raiser at Ipswich on Saturday but the club are expecting Mark to push Robbo for the number one shirt in the coming campaign having made the drop down to the Championship.

Hands off, it seems.
