New Rover Yildiray Basturk has put himself in the Rovers limelight with a very impressive showing in a 1-0 win against Fleetwood Town last night.

The Turkish midfielder, who many believed may be over the hill showed some very steady fitness and some super touches as he was all that was right in the first half.

The Turk only played the first half of the game but the match fitness and the practice has put him right in contention for the Hull squad on Wednesday.

Junior Hoilett, Vince Grella, Nick Blackman, Aaron Dorran and Steven Reid were all part of the game which was used by Rovers to gauge some of the fringe players fitness.

But the main focal point of the evening and the man of the match was Yildiray Basturk AKA the Inglourious Basturk.
