Rovers slowly getting numbers back

Rovers are slowly getting numbers back into the squad after an unlucky run of injuries saw the squad reduced to well below the quality levels expected in recent games.

David Dunn and Dickson Etuhu are both expected to return to the squad with places on the bench for tomorrow’s game with Brighton after both went through a week’s intensive training unharmed.

Dunn actually declared himself fit earlier this week after finding his nine game injury layoff more than frustrating.

Elsewhere Leon Best has returned to contention after missing last weekend’s win over Middlesbrough with a fam strain, sorry I mean groin strain.

Tommy Spurr is rated as ‘hopeful’ over his possible inclusion in the starting line up but if he does miss out Rovers do have options in the form of Adam Henley, Josh Morris and even Matt Kilgallon to fill in at left back.

The game will see the absence of DJ Campbell however, who is sering game two of a three match suspension for his part in the rumble at Bloomfield Road a few weeks back.

But other suspension news sees the return to the fore of Grant Hanley, who has now served his three game ban after behaving like a moron at the DW.

He is expected to slot right back into the side alongside Scott Dann.

Oh and Ruben Rochina has started training again, happy days.
