Looks like Rovers are doing their homework for the summer with Danish international Thomas Kahlenburg heading over to Ewood for a trial after falling out of favour at his current club.

Kahlenburg is a Wolfsburg midfielder who has been told to find a new club after the boss accused him of ‘lacking focus’.

The Daily Mail are reporting – ‘The Denmark international has been suspended by the German side’s manager Pierre Littbarski, who has accused him of lacking focus.

After being told to find a new club for next season, Kahlenberg has pitched up at Ewood Park in an attempt to impress manager Steve Kean.

Kahlenberg worked with Rovers assistant manager John Jensen at Brondby and it was the Dane who invited the midfielder on trial.’

How about we concentrate on staying up first guys?!
