Reported Blackburn Rovers target Mohammed Tchite has said that all that he’s focused on are his performances for his current club Racing Santander.

Rovers are understood to have sent scouts to watch the 25-year-old striker over the weekend, however, Tchite only made it on as a second half substitute in Santander’s 1-0 defeat against Malaga so wasn’t able to make much of an impression. Tchite says that his future depends on what the Spanish side want to do, but his main concern is getting himself fit (after some injury problems this season) and doing his best for them.

Tchite told the Spanish press: “I saw the rumours but it depends on Racing.

“Now my objective is to get into perfect physical condition and finish the campaign on a positive level.

A transfer fee (with Tchite under a long-term contract) understood to be more than £7 million (according to skysports.com) should be enough to make any move to Ewood Park unlikely to happen this summer!!!
