Blackburn Rovers target (at least reported target) Michael Bradley appears to be heading to Germany.

Rovers were first linked with the American International in January, but Bradley decided that he wanted to stay with Heerenveen in Holland until the end of the season (at least). With this rapidly approaching interest in the midfielder is growing all the time with Aston Villa, Everton, Manchester United, Middlesbrough and Sunderland (as well as Rovers) understood to have sent scouts to watch him, along with scouts from Celtic, Werder Bremen and Stuttgart, and the Germans appear to be his preferred choice.

His agent, Kon Schramm told Skysports.com: “He will probably make the move to Germany.

“He likes the clubs, the league and he knows it better. I think he will feel good in Germany
.”

Everton have been the English club most strongly linked with him in recent times, and although Schramm confirmed there has been no contact, although Germany is preferred he isn’t ruling out a possible move to England entirely.

He added: “There is no contact with an English club at this moment, a move to England is possible but we will see.

“We hope something on his future will develop in the next month or so.

“He has one-year left on his current contract and a transfer is not something Heerenveen have really talked about
.”

  • If we miss out on him, we miss out on him, I’m sure Sparky has PLENTY more options that he is looking at!!!

  • Seems like a real good player but even if he went to premiership would still probably go to Everton over us.

  • Sparky should ask Brad to have a word with him and put him in the picture about how much an American can enjoy playing at BRFC. Then Roque should call him and let him know how much better the English league is than the German. Pull out the stops like this and we could land him, leave it to the agents and he probably wont arrive.
