Blackburn Rovers are understood to be keen on giving Andranik Teymourian another run out as his trial continues.

Teymourian has impressed the Rovers coaching staff during training and had a positive impact on the match against Southport last Saturday so Steve Kean is expecting the Iranian International to turn out for Rovers again tomorrow night against Preston North End or Huddersfield.

Kean told the Lancashire Telegraph: “He has trained very well and I think he had a little bit of a tough time when he was at Fulham and never played too many games.

“But he certainly had a good impact on the sessions and Saturday in the game.

“But he needs match practice to get back into the swing of things.

The 27-year-old only made one appearance for Fulham after joining them in 2008 following a successful spell with Bolton Wanderers and has interested Sheffield United since his Fulham release, however, it’s Rovers that he’s been on trial with and another successful outing tomorrow could help his chances of earning a contract at Ewood Park.
