Rovers transfer deadline day depends on sales

Word on the street is that Rovers are considering selling Lars Jacosben and Jason Roberts if the right cash comes in for either player.

Jacobsen has been in the Lancashire Telegraph this morning and it is understood that Rovers will not stand in his way if he gets an offer to leave.

Lars is in the hotly contested right back position with current number one Michel Salgado and Pascal Chimbonda also vying for a place there and the pros of Rovers selling outweigh the need to hang on to the Dane.

But it is all about whether the right offer comes in and with just over 24 hours left before the transfer window shuts it is very much a race against time.

If J-Rob is sold then expect someone along the lines of Ivelin Popov to be bought in to replace him.

After that Rovers must submit their 25 man squad for the upcoming season.

Could be either some fast movement or complete boredom.
