Rovers Trial Another Striker

Dave Mooney, a former Longford striker was set to sign for Cork City but that this could be ruined by “shock” interest from Blackburn Rovers.

Setantasports.com have exclusively revealed that the 23-year-old (who finished as last season’s Eircom League of Ireland top goalscorer) is on trial with Rovers, and if Rovers manager Mark Hughes is impressed he could offer the striker a contract at Ewood Park.
