Blackburn Rovers Under 18s emerged triumphant victors over a favoured Manchester United outfit, running out 3-0 victors at Ewood Park.
With the Home-Grown quota kicking in next season, the youth acadamies are being focused on more then ever, and this result will definately please the club.
Rovers scored a goal just before the break, a corner from Michael Potts slotted home by Jason Lowe. Potts turned provider again in the second half, a free kick headed home by Grant Hanley. Jason Lowe sealed the tie, pouncing on a saved penalty, 3-0 Blackburn.
Speaking to the Official Blackburn Site, manager Gary Bowyer was ecstatic with the result

Rovers now face either Preston North End or Everton in the Quarter Finals…
