Samba Staying At Rovers

Christopher Samba says he wants to honour his long term deal at Blackburn Rovers.

Agent Leon Lambert insists the massive Congolese defender Samba, who signed a new five-year deal last season, is staying at Ewood Park.

Lambert speaking to Sky Sports said: ‘Chris has a contract at Blackburn and he is very happy there.

‘There has been speculation but at this moment he is staying at Blackburn and I expect him to start the season with Blackburn.

‘There has been no contact with anyone else and, Blackburn want him to stay, he’s got a contract until 2012, he’ll respect that and he is happy there.

‘He doesn’t know Paul Ince personally but knows a lot about him as a player and I’m sure he will be happy to have him as his manager.’

I think we will all agree this is a massive boost, the more players that commit to Rovers, the more assured the future at Blackburn will be.

LETS ALL DO THE SAMBA!
