A confident Blackburn Rovers outfit travelled to Hull for the latest round of reserve league fixtures.
Blackburn got of to a bright start, with Julio Santa Cruz setting up the first goal for Alan Judge. Aaron Doran scored the second with a nice run and finish, whilst Judge got his second to make it 3-0 at the break.
Rovers continued the goal scoring spree, with Doran collecting his brace, before Julio Santa Cruz jagging past the hapless Hull keeper, netting his first goal for the club. Hull however did score a consolation goal late on.
Well done to the reserves, and well done to Julio, we never know, could be both Santa Cruz boys leading our strike force
Same name, Same Outcome, Santa Cruz Scores

Dont have a picture yet sorry lads
two Santa Cruz Xmas comes twice then 🙂
Anyone here how his performance and effort was apart from the goal?
Hasn’t been much talk about him since he joined the club. If hes been playing regularly for the reserves i am surprised this is his first goal or has he been injured. Also seen Rigters play on saturday and doesn’t look like he is going to be a success for us. I know he has been injured for a while but i thought dropping down a division might help him kick on but doesn’t look like its going to happen for him although it would be tough for any player to shine in that Barnsley team at the minute
reports are saying he had a great game. An assist and a goal well done
If he is anywhere near his brother then we will have a cracker front line in a couple of years, not that we havent now like
maybe we should buy both of them off you come January ?? ;o)
you’ll be lucky if you got one of em mate… 😉 And by all accounts he looks a very classy centre forward. Excellent stuff.
