Robbie Savage has criticised the current Wales manager John Toshack and the Welsh F.A and insists he on current performances should be in the National side.

Savage, speaking on BBC Wales’ Midweek Sport programme said:

‘People might say I walked out on Wales but I retired because he (Toshack) told me I wasn’t good enough for his squad.’

‘My performances for Blackburn Rovers this season merit a place in the Wales team, simple as that,’

Savage who has had 39 caps for his country has yet to be picked by Toshack and he has some strong words to say about him and the Welsh F.A.

‘Yes, I chucked my toys out of the pram but this is the man who walked out on Wales, I can’t believe people are forgetting this.’

‘For me, the Welsh FA is still run by dinosaurs,’

Toshack took over as part-time Wales boss in 1994 but resigned after just one game in charge, a 3-1 defeat to Norway.
Is Savage right in his view of Toshack and the Welsh F.A? Should he be in the national side? Register and post your comments on the forumns!
