Sky Sports selected their TV picks for the month of September last week and fans will know which games have effected on Wednesday.

In line with the agreement made with the Premier League and the EFL to attempt to give fans at least five weeks notice of potential game changes to suit the armchair supporter, Sky last week confirmed their selections up to October 1 and clubs have had a few days to liaise with police and Safety Advisory Groups in line with their picks.

Fans will learn of the new changes to the fixture list on Wednesday July 19 at 11am when all discussions between clubs have been concluded.

So for those fans making plans up to October, hold fire, don’t book anything as this is football and the best laid plans often go out the window with the caveat ‘all games subject to change’.

Even come Wednesday there’s no 100% guarantee games still won’t change but your odds of not losing out on money are incredibly strengthened.

Future TV announcement windows with fans finding out three odd days later:

7th October to 11th November by 25th August
18th November to 9th December by 29th September
16th December to 13th January by 3rd November
20th January to 3rd February by 8th December
10th February to 3rd March by 29th December
10th March to 31st March by 19th January

From February 23 a minimum five week rolling selection commences for matches until the penultimate weekend, and clubs will be informed of selections for the final day following the completion of the penultimate round of matches.
