Following extensive meetings between the BRFC Action Group committee and the clubs recently appointed Global Advisor, Shebby Singh over recent weeks, we are delighted to announce that Shebby has accepted a personal invitation from the group to attend an open floor meeting which will be hosted by the BRFC Action Group.

The proposal was put forward by the groups committee to Shebby and the BRFC Action Group will set the full agenda for this meeting. The meeting means the supporters of Blackburn Rovers will finally be given the opportunity to ask their questions directly to the man who is overseeing everything at Blackburn Rovers at ground level.

Since gaining our FSF affiliation in May, we have grown rapidly as a group and have the full support of many of our community figureheads, the full chamber of the local council and our local MPs. The groups membership base continues to increase weekly and Shebby is eager to work with the group and build bridges with the supporters.

The BRFC Action Group would like to extend its invite to the whole supporter base of Blackburn Rovers to have their chance to air their concerns directly to Shebby and to listen to his plans for the club.

The meeting is scheduled for the morning of Saturday 11th August with a venue to be confirmed over the next 48 hours. Supporters who wish to attend will be urged to contact the committee when full details are released as a vast response is expected. The groups honorary patrons and a number of community figureheads will also be in attendance.

Further details of the Brfc Action Groups latest meeting with Shebby will be released once the minutes have been passed off by the committee.

BRFC Action Group secretary Mark Fish said:

“We as a group are delighted that a chain of communication has finally been opened with somebody whom has direct, daily contact with the owners of Blackburn Rovers. Shebby has been brought in to the club as a representative of the owners at ground level and the early signs of dialogue are positive. Whilst this is only one step, it is a giant step in the right direction in terms of getting Blackburn Rovers back on the right track. Shebby is keen to listen and be educated on the thoughts of the clubs supporters and as the clubs only FSF affiliated supporters group, the BRFC Action Group, are delighted that Shebby is willing to meet, upon our invitation with a wide range of the clubs supporters in an attempt to bring the club, its supporters and the towns community back together”

Shebby Singh, Blackburn Rovers Global Advisor said:

“The sincerity and honesty that we share, the BRFC Action Group and I, is the brickwork which is needed in building relationships”
