Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Slew has finally moved on to head out on loan until January.

Things haven’t worked out for the twenty-one-year-old at Ewood Park since his arrival from Sheffield United and he’s been one of those that’s been free to leave the club since the summer as he wasn’t in Gary Bowyer’s plans.

Slew completed a loan move to Port Vale today when he signed to for the League 1 club until the fifth of January with him now looking to prove himself at Vale Park as well as helping them to become promotion contenders.

His debut (under Micky Adams, who worked with Slew during his time as Manager at Sheffield United) should come in the match against Chesterfield on Saturday.
