The next stop on the Championship season for Blackburn will see us head to Wolves today.

Ahead of this game at Molineux we take a look at some stats for what they’re worth! Some will favour us others work against us.

Statistically speaking….

The favourites to win this would be Wolves given they’ve won four of the last five-matches against Blackburn? Rovers drew that other one with this run including Wolves winning the last three on the spin!

On the flipside Blackburn have won twice (and been beaten only once) in the last seven visits to Molineux, with draws the favourable result as we’ve seen no less than four of them from these last seven-matches.

Should this game, like the previous two-matches Wolves have had at home, end in a nil-nil draw it would amazingly be the first time this has happened at Molineux since February 1899!

If the game is goalless at half time it could mean there’s a good chance of this happening but Wolves have scored the last seven-goals they’ve managed in the second half! We’ll hope any they might get today (if in the second half) are in response to those we’ve already scored….

In finishing, a rather odd stat, is the one that tells us Blackburn have scored more goals from throw-ins this season than any other club! Rovers have managed three so far.

Throw-ins are the way forward then!
