Should Valeri Domovchiyski impress during his trial with Blackburn Rovers, manager Mark Hughes has said that we are in a position to sign him.
The 21-year-old Bulgarian striker is undergoing a five-day trial with Rovers so Hughes can get a closer look at the highly rated Levski Sofia youngster before deciding whether to make a move. However, he has confirmed that if he does impress (which I am expecting) then Rovers can and probably WILL sign him.
Hughes told This is Lancashire: “We’ve had good reports on him. I haven’t seen him first hand, obviously, which is why we are bringing him in.
“But he has scored a lot of goals at the level he is playing at, and we always take the opportunity, if we can, to bring in players and have a look at them first hand.
“He’s also a decent age for us and if there’s a deal to be made, then we are in a position to do that.”
Levski Sofia are claiming that a deal HAS already been agreed?!?!
