Vital Blackburn’s most recent poll, suggested by Bents4eng asked, “Who, out of the teams that come up next season do you think is the most likely to stay up?” Most feel Sunderland.

Almost half the voters, 46% see Sunderland as the team most likely to stay up at the end of the 2007-2008 season, from the teams that have/will eventually be promoted from the Championship to the Premiership.

Roy Keane took Sunderland from the foot of the Championship to eventually lead them to the Championship Title. History has often favoured the League winners from the season before to survive, but even this in recent years has been in a slight decline. Keane’s clear confidence in his team, the financial backing and his standing in the game to attract names is clearly enough to convince most Sunderland can, and will stay up next season.

Sunderland and Birmingham both staying up was an opinion that quite a few shared, this option gained 23%. Birmingham alone saw 16% with ALL three teams promoted teams avoiding the drop fancied by 7%, but this is highly unlikely to happen?!?!

So in summary
None of them – 6%
Sunderland – 46%
Birmingham – 16%
West Brom/Derby – 7%
All of them – 1%
Sunderland AND Birmingham – 23%
Other – 1%

We’ve decided the Player of the Month for May, now we look for the Rovers Goal of the Month for May, so the current poll is asking, “What was May’s top Goal?” Unfortunately it appears that our friends at the FA and Premier League’s are REALLY clamping down on YouTube’s ability to show goals, so it doesn’t look like I’ll be able to give you reminders any more?!?!

As for what you think, cast your vote and why not have your say on the latest polls findings?
