Was it a case of ‘after the Lord Mayor’s show’ for Blackburn at Cardiff on Tuesday? That draw, which needed to be a win, followed our thrashing of Stoke in the FA Cup. That becomes a decent away point if we beat Blackpool on Saturday.

Blackpool would be a side that we expect to beat, most other clubs have beaten them away but if we’re going to do this we’ll have to do it without Ben Marshall (shoulder) once again.

Marshall went off in that FA Cup win and missed the Cardiff draw, he should be back in training next week though. Jason Lowe (foot) is out for the season with David Dunn (calf) still sidelined but Corry Evans (knock) will be fit.

Blackpool will be without the injured Darren O’Dea (ankle) and Andrea Orlandi (thigh), they join Mark Waddington (foot), who isn’t likely to play again this season. Tom Aldred (suspension) sit out with Niall Maher (hamstring) injured in training and Nyron Nosworthy (illness) doubtful – Grant Hall does return though.

A repeat of the win at Bloomfield win in August would be expected by Blackburn on Saturday….

Ahead of the game we’re looking for your views on what way you think it will go:-

Blackburn win
Blackpool win
