The lads over in Pune, India have started their search for John Williams’ replacement in the Rovers hot seat by commencing their search for a new Blackburn Rovers chairman.

Williams left his job as chairman after 14 years at the club last week and until now it was unsure what the plan of action was.

There are no names mentioned initially but word coming out of the club is that there are a few names in the running, some no doubt with Kentaro connections.

Vineeth Rao, director of marketing for Venky`s India, told the Lancashire Telegraph – “We are trying to find a good experienced chairman and we do have some options’.

One thing I can tell them for free is whoever they bring will have done a cracking job if they achieve even half of what JW did.
