The transfer targets emerge

Looks like the January transfer plans are starting to take a bit of shape with rumours coming around this morning that two players are on the ‘hit list’ to improve the squad in January.

First up is a familiar name – summer transfer subject Vedad Ibisevic. You may remember the young man from our long, drawn out summer activity. We were in for the striker before the move was vetoed due to concerns over his fitness levels… and ended up signing David ‘Peak Condition’ Goodwillie instead.

Anyways with a striker very much on the needed list Ibisevic is expected to be subject to a pursuit when business opens.

Meanwhile another name that has emerged is Barcelona B’s Jonathan Dos Santos. Two interesting tid bits for this one –

1) Jonathan is the brother of Mexican and Tottenham short arse Giovani.

2) He players in the same side that we got Ruben Rochina from last January.

Jonathan is a midfielder who fits the bill as a ‘quality, young signing’ and has a good pedigree about him as you would expect from someone on the fringes of the Barcelona main squad.

Jonathan was one of the eight Mexican players sent home from the Copa America for dabbling with prostitutes.

A scandal monger at Rovers? He’ll fit in a dream.
