The Transfer Wrap

Blackburn Rovers featured heavily in the transfer window which shut down only hours ago. However, with all the rumours and supposed signings and players on trial, minimal change has occured to the Rovers Squad.

We Start with the Ins….

Nick Blackman 19 Year old Macclesfield Town Striker, signed for an undisclosed fee with a contract until 2011

Gael Givet 27 Year old Marseille Left/Central back, 6 month loan with option for a permanent move

El-Hadji Diouf 28 year old Sunderland Attacking Midfielder/Forward, fee excessive of 2 million

Outs…..

Matt Derbyshire 6 month loan move to Olympiakos, option to make permanent

Alan Judge 6 month loan transfer to Plymouth, no permanent transfer option

Eddie Nolan Transfer to Plymouth on 6 figure deal

Sergio Peter Transfer to Sparta Prague, undisclosed fee

With many fans expecting Rovers to invest in this transfer market, it came to many’s surprise that our only major piece of business was the signing of El-Hadji Diouf, whilst hated by many for his antics and ‘That Penalty’, will sure bolster the playing stocks of Rovers.

Santa Cruz stayed, Gamst Stayed, Warnock Stayed, Nelsen Stayed and Samba stayed, all our big names went no where, so it should be business as usual for Rovers

Now lets close up the second half of the season with a run of victories

Thats the Wrap
