Rovers FA Cup opponents, Championship runaway leaders QPR are apparently chasing the services of out of favour defender Pascal Chimbonda.

Chimbo was last seen playing three seconds behind the game in the 7-1 defeat to Manchester United a few months back and it is well documented he is free to leave in this current transfer window.

That has alerted our old pals over in London and Neil Warnock is looking for a full back after the end of Kyle Walker’s loan from Spurs.

The Fulham Chronicle is reporting – ‘QPR are ready to gamble on Pascal Chimbonda as Kyle Walker’s replacement after the right-back was recalled to Spurs this week at the end of his loan deal.

Chimbonda has been told he can leave Blackburn – but the sticking point might be getting Rovers to loan rather than sell a player who`s not seen eye-to-eye with his last three Premiership bosses.’
