Top 25 All Time Table Finishes? (14/11/16)

With the ongoing November international break boring those of us without an interest in that type of football, here’s an updated points list for the 25 most successful clubs based on their top flight history.

There are some notable clubs in this presumed top flight division totalling 25 clubs based on their historical performances and point tally when competing at the top of the English game, whether that be League One as it once was, or the new fangled Premier League.

So the table – many clubs are exactly where (or at least close to where) you’d expect them to be when it comes to the top five/top ten slots in particular, but after that point – especially for younger members of the planet – the names listed probably wouldn’t feature in your top five guesses if you were pushed on the matter.

But I do accept the stattos amongst us could probably recite this from memory.
