Tugay has signed a new one year deal at Ewood Park which will include a new coaching role as well. He turns 38 in the summer but is still one of the finest passers of this generation and a true Rovers great.
The 37-year-old midfielder has been a massive success at Blackburn since his £1.2 million move (what a bargain!) from Rangers back in the summer of 2001, yet his existing deal was set to expire this summer as it has the last few summers.
However, Rovers have handed Tugay a new one-year contract to remain at ‘home’ and he will also take on a coaching roles at the club which could further extend his stay beyond next summer which is news to delight the rovers faithful.
Keep the good news coming guys.
