I know this might seem like a little bit of a cheap shot but I really don’t care. A certain someone had been a smug/arrogant numpty in the run up to the Blackburn Peterborough Carling Cup game last night. It was no suprise his name was Ferguson but it was the younger one – Posh boss Darren Ferguson.

Prior to the game we had been suffocated with comments of how Darren was pleased with the draw, he was sure his boys could get the win as Sam would play the reserves and he wanted a Premiership scalp – Rovers were apparently the best draw for him to do that.

Well, thats what you get you smug fool for underestimating our ‘reserves’. I know you get good coaching on how to be a self centered, delusional, one-eyed manager from your father but maybe that will knock you down a peg or two.

Yes, you are a talented manager. Yes you will no doubt manage on the Premier League one day but maybe you might wanna keep your mouth shut in the run up to games about the opposition as you might just end up writing the team talk for them.

But wait there is more – we had to put up with this after the game last night.

Ferguson, speaking to Peterborough’s official website – ‘It’s disappointing for the fans and it’s disappointing for everyone,’

‘It’s not as if we came here and got annihilated. Obviously as the game went on, they kept the ball and I started to become more concerned about us keeping some energy for Saturday.

‘But we gave them a game up to the sending off, and that was the turning point.

‘I would have to see it (the sending off) again – I have only seen it once live.

‘He (Pedersen) made his decision and Joe tried to get out of the way of him, you can see in his body shape.

‘But he has just nicked it around him, kicked it out of play and the ref has sent him off and given a penalty.’

So according to him – he can’t talk about the decision properly as he has only seen it once live, but then moans that the decision was incorrect!

Looks like he learned from the master about deflecting attention away from his own teams defeat.

Hopefully he may learn from this – but I doubt it.
