Van Heerden move is a permanent one

Elrio Van Heerden’s brief stay at Ewood Park is over… for good it has been confirmed.

He has joined Turkish side Sivasspor on a free transfer it has been acknowledged on Rovers official website.

Van Heerden made just the two substitute appearances in the Carling Cup for Blackburn and his stay in East Lancashire has been a huge disappointment.

Oh well, at least he was free!
