Blackburn were beaten 3-2 by Brighton in the Championship on Tuesday.

Former Blackburn defender Shane Duffy was among the goalscorers for Brighton when they won at Ewood Park – Rovers also saw former Seagulls captain Gordon Greer sent off as we dropped into the bottom three.

Duffy headed Brighton ahead early on with the lead doubled shortly past the hour through Dale Stephens.

Blackburn got back into the game when Sam Gallagher pulled one back midway through the second half. However, the sending off of Greer for a second yellow card left Rovers playing out the game with 10 men.

Murray took advantage of this to add Brighton’s third 11 minutes from time with Gallagher’s second deep into injury-time a mere consolation in front of Blackburn’s lowest crowd of the season.
