The Championship season continued with the latest round of games played on Thursday and Good Friday.

Brighton opened up a lead at the top of the Championship – moving a step closer, not only to the Premier League BUT winning the title. Newcastle will join them but most likely as runners up now?

It’ll take a monumental effort from Wigan but an 11 minute hat trick from Nick Powell saw the Latics to another win – Blackburn also continue to battle against the drop. However, relegation rivals Bristol City also won so they retain a healthy gap.
