Blackburn drew nil-nil with Derby in the Championship on Wednesday, a result which leaves Rovers in 17th place but too close to the bottom three for comfort.

Cleansheets have become common for Blackburn at home but with Rovers unable to force a breakthrough against Derby, who don’t often draw a blank so that’s a good thing, the points had to be shared.

There weren’t too many chances on the whole but Derby had the best in the opening half with Blackburn’s chances the better in the second 45-minutes as Rovers extended an unbeaten run at Ewood Park to five-matches.

A point against a side like Derby, who are unbeaten in seven-matches, were looking for a win to move into 3rd place and had failed to score in only two of their 11-matches prior to this one, isn’t a bad thing is it!

The above video shows the highlights from this game at Ewood, with this result giving Rovers something to build an unbeaten run from again?
