Blackburn secured a 1-0 win over Newcastle in the Championship on Saturday.
A second half goal from Charlie Mulgrew was enough to making it back-to-back wins for Blackburn, this win at league leaders Newcastle followed up the 3-2 win over Brentford last weekend.
Blackburn keeper Jason Steele kept Newcastle out before Scottish international Mulgrew volleyed home a 75th minute winner from a Liam Feeney cross with one of only two efforts on target from Rovers.
