Vital Tugay Interview – FINALISED

Thanks to your help we’ve whittled down the number of questions we wanted, to the number requested in order to gain (hopefully!) some answers from legendary Blackburn Rovers midfielder Tugay.

Having previously agreed to an interview, at the request of the Maestro’s agent we had to whittle down what I felt were the best seventeen originally put to him (on reflection this probably was too many!) to six. With your help (many thanks for this) we’ve narrowed them down to these.

Q1) Have you ever rejected any transfers to clubs, if so who were these teams and why did you turn them down?

Q2) When you finally retire (not for a while hopefully!) do you have any plans to be a Coach or Manager; if so would you like to do this with Rovers?

Q3) What do think of the clubs younger players; which ones do think could make it with the club?

Q4) How does working with Mark Hughes compare to other managers you have worked for? Is Sparky the man to take Rovers forward?

Q5) You have scored some stunning goals in your time… which one stands out above all the others?

Q6) You have been with the club five and a half years now, which five players have stood out during your time at Ewood Park and why? However who would you say is the best footballer you’ve played alongside? (Club (Rovers or otherwise) or Country)

As requested I’ve been able to maybe combine a couple of questions without asking too much from Tugay. Hopefully we will get somewhere with these six and get some answers shortly, ideally getting him to maybe answer some of the others at another time?
