The Championship season continued with a few games played during midweek.

Wolves’ survival hopes were boost with a win whereas fellow strugglers Blackburn’s added time point could prove crucial.

Here’s a round up of the Championship action from the other games.

Tuesday 14th March 2017 – CHAMPIONSHIP
Brentford 1-2 Wolverhampton Wanderers 19:45
Fulham 2-2 Blackburn Rovers 19:45

Brentford suffered a second successive defeat when a lead was lost against struggling Wolves with two late goals sealing them a 2-1 win at Griffin Park. Wolves’ back-to-back victories made it three unbeaten to move them four clear of the relegation zone.

The lead was twice lost as Fulham drew 2-2 with Blackburn at Craven Cottage. The Cottagers first half lead was cancelled out with the winner seemingly secured four minutes from time. However, a place in the top six was missed when Rovers rescued a point with a third successive draw to climb out of the bottom three.
