The League One season continued with the latest round of games played over the weekend.

Wimbledon’s first win of the season, which was Doncaster’s first loss since returning to League One, took the Dons out of the bottom four with this something MK Dons dropped closer too following a heavy defeat at Blackburn – this Ewood Park win made it successive victories for Rovers.

Despite a fourth defeat in a row Oldham, beaten at Blackpool, moved off the bottom of the table on goal difference due to Northampton’s heavy defeat, which came against Peterborough, who maintained their 100% record to go top.

Shrewsbury too kept up their unbeaten start with a draw at Oxford as did Scunthorpe, remaining undefeated after thrashing Plymouth 4-0 at Home Park.

A third win in four for Charlton – winning at Rotherham – took the Addicks up to fourth.

Meanwhile, Wigan, dropping to second, were denied a win when Paul Cook’s former side Portsmouth claimed a point at the DW Stadium. Pompey scored a late equaliser against the 10 man Latics.
