We’re serious about buying Blackburn Rovers

Saurin Shah, the Indian businessman who has made an offer for Blackburn Rovers, insists that he is serious about buying the club.

Shah’s interest in the club was made big news yesterday morning and since then we have all sat wondering whether this was another false dawn or not.

But judging by the brief statement he has made this morning, it seems we have a genuine interest.

Shah, spoke to the Mirror newspaper and said -“We`re serious, we`re in negotiations. We`ve acquired the right of due diligence. We have the right of first refusal.

“There are many Indian and Pakistani people in Lancashire. So the interest is natural.”

Let’s hope this is all backed up.
