Doneil Henry made quite an impression at Ewood Park during his brief, yet successful, loan spell before injury cut this short and ended his season didn’t he.

A hamstring injury against Charlton meant that his season was over but Gary Bowyer has already expressed an interest in bringing him back to Blackburn next season – a permanent move has always seemed out of the question, so a loan was more likely, and this could be on?

West Ham co-owner David Sullivan is quoted by TalkSport as saying that a loan exit, and return to Ewood Park, could be on but only if the Canadian isn’t part of the first-team set-up for the Premier League side at the time!

‘He won impressive reviews for his performances at Blackburn Rovers before getting injured.

‘If he’s ready for the Premier League then he could get a chance, otherwise it might be that he goes out on loan again to gain more experience.’

Could you see Henry back next season, more to the point would you want this? Or do you think he’ll be ready for the Premier League with West Ham, or a loan with another at that level?

If he did drop back to the Championship though it makes sense for a return to us doesn’t it….
