Worst Month of the Season

When asked to simply leave the Month, which you feel saw Rovers have their WORST Month of the Season most felt?

September should be the Award Winner! So congratulations I guess go to September 2006, with some credit going to Bolton Wanderers, Chelsea and West Ham United who played their part in making it bad.

The month started well with a 2-1 victory over Wigan Athletic in the Premiership, followed by a 1-1 draw with Liverpool at Anfield; we then added to this with an away win against Wisla Krakow in the UEFA Cup. Then it turned sour?

A home defeat to Bolton in the League was made all the worse by the fact we scored a goal that wasn’t given and we missed not one but TWO penalties! We then went out of the League Cup after a 2-0 home defeat to Chelsea. The month concluded when we were mugged by the Hammered and they beat us 2-1.

This wasn’t an Award that too many contributed towards but enough did for September to just about get the nod.
